Why this site exists

Most dev team "metrics" dashboards measure the wrong things well. This site is a sharper answer to a question founders and CTOs keep asking.

The question is usually some version of is my engineering team healthy? The answers people reach for (velocity, burndown, tickets closed) are easy to produce and tell you almost nothing. The answers that do tell you something (how often you ship, how long ideas take to reach production, how often a change breaks something) take more effort to measure and usually make someone uncomfortable.

The calculators here are the fastest way to get a real number for each of those, without installing anything or signing up for anything. Paste your data, read the result, close the tab. Everything runs in your browser.
